The actress also admitted she had turned to therapy to deal with her mental health woes and teased the possibility of a return to Coronation Street. Explaining how her attitude towards breastfeeding has changed since welcoming her second child, Helen said: ‘I had Matilda I would feel much for nervous breastfeeding in public and I would always go back to my car. I think I felt more anxious anyway. But this time round I feel much more confident and I don’t feel anxious at all. Candid: Late last year, Helen spoke candidly about her experience of motherhood and her battle with anxiety in an exclusive interview with MailOnline ‘I breastfeed whenever I need to when I’m out and about and it doesn’t really bother me. Sometimes I use a blanket and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I have to latch Delilah on and I’m not going to use it if I’m all hot and bothered, so I just do what’s right for my baby and if anyone has a problem then that’s their problem, not mine. ‘Scott always says to me, “Breastfeeding’s the most natural thing, it’s ridiculous that some people have a problem with it,” so it’s nice to have a supportive partner as well.’ Helen has taken to motherhood like a duck to water and believes it’s the most fulfilling job she’s ever had. The soap star enthused: ‘I always wanted to have a baby, that’s what I’ve always wanted. I think it’s just made me a lot happier, and gives you perspective and helps you rationalise what’s important. I think it gives you a real purpose. ‘I feel like my girls make me feel like I can do anything. I love being a mum, I love everything of it. Sometimes I’m like “this is going to be really difficult” because I’m tired or whatever, but it is amazing as well and I really enjoy it. ‘I feel this time round, after having Delilah, I feel like it’s easier because you know how you’re going to feel. The first time round with Mathilda maybe I felt more anxious but now I know how to deaL with that the second time around. She also said she would love to have two more children and is confident she can twist footballer partner Scott’s arm. ‘I really want to have four’, she said. ‘I think Scott’s like “maybe three” but I don’t know, we’ll see how we go, but I definitely want more. I’m sure I’ll get my own way eventually.’ Engaged: Helen and her footballer beau got engaged in 2018 but have yet to announce a wedding date Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site dailymail and under his responsibility
