Appearing on the Jeremy Vine show on Wednesday, the 50-year-old, who has just released her book, Tales From The Red Carpet, discussed the secret romance with the 31-year-old for the first time. Jeremy asked her: 'Did Danny Cipriani break your heart?' and she replied: 'Yes!' But he helped me to get through a tough time. 'When I got divorced, I couldn't lift my head up off the pillow. I was in the darkest place.' Lizzie was married to footballer Jason Cundy from 1994 - they had two sons together, but they split in 2010 when he left her for opera singer, Hannah Pedley and their divorce was finalised in 2012. Lizzie is now in a relationship with nightclub owner, Jeremy Gordeno. In a recent interview with OK!, the presenter discussed the explosive row which happened when Jeremy's ex Candice Hodge, 39, discovered them posing for a photoshoot at his mansion. Lizzie refuted claims Jeremy had told Candice he wanted to start a family with her after proposing in Italy. She said: 'He was adamant it isn't the way she said it was. He's been very open. I think I'd be a fool to ever trust him 100 per cent, but I trust him on this.' Meanwhile, his bitter ex-fiancée Candice told The Sun how she branded Lizzie a 'f**king w***e' in the showdown. She explained: 'All the cameras were around her. I don't normally swear but I couldn't help myself. I shouted, 'You f***ing w***e".'
