They'll also be matching public donations to the Jed Foundation through June 12 up to $100,000. The Jed Foundation promotes emotional health and suicide prevention in teens and young adults. The Didi Hirsch Foundation provides free mental health, substance use disorder and suicide prevention services. And Fountain House provides opportunities for people recovering from mental illness. Kate is survived by her 14-year-old daughter Frances Spade and husband Andy Spade, with whom she'd separated shortly before her death. He said: 'Kate suffered from depression and anxiety for many years. 'She was actively seeking help and working closely with her doctors to treat her disease, one that takes far too many lives. We were in touch with her the night before and she sounded happy. There was no indication and no warning that she would do this. It was a complete shock. And it clearly wasn’t her.
