And Karl Stefanovic proved he was ready to make his comeback as he appeared in a Channel Nine teaser for the second season of his show, This Time Next Year. The clip was posted on The Block's official Instagram account on Friday. Karl finished filming the second season of This Time Next Year at Sydney's Fox Studios in February. Meanwhile, the embattled host has reportedly become almost 'friendless' at the network after 'liking' an Instagram post criticising the network's decision to sack him from the breakfast show after 13 years as its host. The show's second season was announced last October amid rumours Karl was set to be replaced as co-host of the struggling Today program. Following his axing in December, reports emerged that Karl had been hard at work on his fitness as he attempts to relaunch his TV career.
