The rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires, whose core members include - Alice Cooper, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Johnny Depp - are set to release their second studio album, Rise, June 21.
For their latest single from the record, Depp takes over the lead vocal duties for a cover of David Bowie's classic song Heroes.
The black and white video was filmed in Berlin's Hansa Studios last June, the very same studio that Bowie recorded the original version way back in 1977.
Iconic: Johnny Deep takes over as lead vocalist for a cover of the David Bowie classic Heroes in a new video for the upcoming Hollywood Vampires album Rise
Building a sense of drama to the opening feedback riff of the iconic song, the video begins some behind-the-scene shots of the band getting ready to record as singer Alice Cooper walks into the belly of the room.
Depp makes his first appearance when he belts out the opening lines: 'I, I wish I could swim. Like dolphins, like dolphins can swim.'
With his mohawk pulled back with a feather and dark sunglasses, the legendary actor looks every bit the classic rocker as he belts out the attitude and emotion with authority with his guitar hanging over his shoulders.
