Simon Pegg and Nick Frost look set to reunite as Orion Pictures has acquired the rights to their horror pitch Svalta.
The pair co-wrote the popular Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy together, also known as the Blood and Ice Cream trilogy, made up of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End.
According to Deadline, Svalta tells the story of a family who go on holiday to an isolated Swedish island where they discover a serial killer is on the loose.

To their dismay, the locals seem to have no interest in helping the tourists during their time on the fictional island which the project is named after.
Nick is said to be penning the screenplay along with Stolen Picture creative directors James Serafinowicz and Nat Saunders, which is the pair's production company.
Orion Pictures president John Hegeman said the project has a similar sensibility to the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy films.
