Former Bachelorette Georgia Love revealed last month her viewing experience of The Voice had been 'ruined' by her ex-boyfriend auditioning for the show.
But the reality TV star can rest easy now after her former fling Matthew Garwood failed to reach the next round with his operatic rendition of You Raise Me Up.
The theatrical singer, who was a finalist in 2014, was unable to turn Delta Goodrem's chair - with all the other mentors having already filled their teams.
'I'm so sorry that in this moment I was not looking for that style,' she said following Matthew's performance.
'I loved your voice, it was really beautiful - but it was other factors that I was listening to in my heart.'
But the Australian songstress did offer a parting gesture to the heavily tattooed tenor as she asked him if he wanted to perform on one of her later tours.
