Police are investigating an assault incident involving Married at First Sight's Cyrell Paule, who was attacked in Shoal Bay, New South Wales on Sunday.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Monday, a representative at Port Stephens-Hunter Police District confirmed that a police probe is ongoing, following an incident at Pelican Cafe.
Cyrell, 30, sustained minor injuries including light bruising and scratches on her neck after an unidentified woman lunged and grabbed her by the throat in what the reality star claims was an 'unprovoked racially-motivated attack'.

The woman's identity has not been made public, however, it's believed police have been in contact with all parties involved.
In a series of Instagram posts on Sunday, Cyrell broke down in tears as she recalled being assaulted during a lunch outing with boyfriend, Eden Dally, 26.
She claims she was called a 'black monkey' before being physically assaulted.
'So I'm a little shaken up right now because me and Eden [Dally] were just about to leave Shoal Bay, we just had lunch,' a visibly shaken Cyrell said moments after the incident.
'And this lady, a restaurant owner... thought it would be hilarious while I'm walking down the street to turn around and call me a 'f***ing black...,' she said breaking down in
