TOWIE's Mario Falcone reveals being a stay-at-home father to his son Parker is 'intense and lonely' as he opens up about the challenges of parenthood

TOWIE star Mario Falcone has revealed being a stay-at-home dad can be more 'intense and lonely' than going back to work.

The reality star, who welcomed his son Parker last November, spends three days a week at home alone with the tot when his fiancée Becky Miesner heads to work. 

And Mario, 31, has now opened up about how 'lonely' taking care of the seven-month-old can be, as he discussed the challenges of becoming a parent.

He told OK! Magazine: 'Before Parker was born I was like "Me and my son hanging out every day? Great!" But it is lonely, until he's a bit older - I take my hat off to any mum or dad who stays at home with their kids because it's more intense and lonely than going to work'.

Mario, who is the brother of author Giovanna Fletcher, also confessed he and Becky 'sometimes just want to kill each other' due to the strains of sleep deprivation.
