Real World Atlanta cast gets emotional tackling hot button issues in series ...

Illegal immigration, racism, body dysmorphia, classism, indigenous pride and LGBTQ+ discrimination aren't the stereotypical topics for a reality show.

These types of real issues, however, are at the crux MTV's  refreshingly modern reboot of their most iconic reality show The Real World.

The cast of The Real World Atlanta exclusively sat down with DailyMailTV for their very first interview together after wrapping the new season in May.

Meagan, Dondre, Clint, Justin, Yasmin, Tovah and Arely gathered in an upstairs bedroom at the luxury Georgia condo they called home for several weeks to open up about their emotional time spent on the show.

'The house was amazing,' Yasmin gushed. 'It’s huge and it’s really open so we always have to see each other!

Adding: 'Sometimes it looked like a frat house.'

In the mix this season are a single mom DREAMer, a Catholic virgin, a pansexual Trump supporter, a small-town farmer, a leader of the black community, a social worker with traumatic past and a pansexual feminist artist.

'Yeah, I came here judging everybody,' Dondre revealed to DailyMailTV.

Dondre was quick to admit, however, that he was wrong: 'I misjudged everybody.'

In an attempt to avoid stereotyping the rest of the people in the house on day one, Justin revealed that he wanted to analyze his new roommates.

'What is it that's so interesting about this person,' Justin added. 'What are their personality traits? what ticks of them off?'

For Dondre, a particular topic of concern was illegal immigration. In a tense exchange with castmate Arely in the preview, he came out with strong opinions about her status as a DREAMer.

'I'm actually a DACA recipient,' Arely said in the clip.

Dondre tells her his thoughts point blank: 'You shouldn't come over illegally.'

Arely, who at 21-years-old was the only parent in the house, had to leave her 4-year-old son at home for the nearly two months of shooting.

Yeah, I came here judging everybody,' Dondre  revealed to DailyMailTV

When filming got underway, she admitted there were moments that she thought: 'What did I get myself into?'

Adding that the experience was 'nothing of what I expected.'

Unlike earlier iterations of the show, this time it's being streamed digitally on Facebook Watch so viewers can engage with each other and the cast in real time.

'Since the seven of us did talk so much about race and political things and what's going on with the world, you know, this gives not only just the seven of us a voice but everybody to be able to comment,' Tovah shared.

Admission: Dondre admitted he seriously 'misjudged' everyone

The hot button discussions and, yes, often times arguments were unavoidable in the house.

'It's hard because you're never put in a position like this,' Yasmin told DailyMailTV. 'Those conversations happen every single day when you're here because you cannot run away from one another’

As to how the conversations were handled, according to Clint, it depended on 'how much you were drinking.'
