On Sunday, a shocking video showed Cyrell being choked by a woman inside Pelican Cafe in what the Married at First Sight star claims was a 'racially-motivated' and unprovoked attack. 'It was a customer... I saw everything. My staff, which happened to be two of my daughters, were in the kitchen and we noticed [Cyrell and Eden] walking past and a customer went from my shop outside to take photos or video,' Deborah said. 'Cyrell was having a go at the customer for taking a photo or video as they were walking past... I don't know what was said or happened outside. 'They got in their car and drove past and did a U turn and came back into my shop and said 'does this cafe have an issue with us?' and I said 'no'.' 'We were having lunch and then we were going back to Cyrell's car and then this feral girl from across the street yelled 'hey Cyrell you mutt' and Cyrell said 'what did you say?' - and [the woman] said 'you're a mutt... perhaps I should use the word black monkey, maybe that suits her better'? Eden said. 'We went in our car to drive off and as we're driving past they're standing there and pretending to throw objects at our car - So then we pulled over walked in the cafe.' Deborah claims the incident, which is being investigated by police, has 'ruined her business'. 'My shop, I have to turn my phone off. I've been getting calls nonstop of comments of saying I'm racist and my staff are racist and they've ruined my business,' Deborah said. 'Not in any way did I hear any racist comment made inside my shop.' 'Hi everyone, I am the owner of Pelican Cafe takeaway. Myself and my staff who are my daughters witnessed an incident that occured [sic] in our shop. In no way were we involved, nor were there any racial comments made towards anyone,' she wrote. It comes after local police confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that an investigation is underway. Clash: Eden rushed to Cyrell's defence after an unidentified woman tried to choke her Cyrell sustained minor injuries including light bruising and scratches on her neck after the unidentified woman lunged and grabbed her by the throat. While the woman's identity has not been made public, it's understood that police have been in contact with all parties involved. In a series of Instagram posts on Sunday, Cyrell broke down in tears as she recalled being assaulted during a lunch outing with her boyfriend Eden Dally. She claims she was called a 'black monkey' before being physically assaulted.
