Drake reached up to console Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant on Monday after he was injured during Game Five of the NBA Finals in Toronto, Canada.
The 32-year-old Canadian rapper despite being a global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors counts Durant, 30, among his favorite players and friends.
Drake appeared to give Durant some encouraging words and patted him on the back as the 6ft 9in star walked back to the locker room during the second quarter.

Durant, the two-time NBA Finals MVP, was attempting to dribble past Serge Ibaka early in the second quarter when he suddenly came to a stop, lost the ball and limped sideways before grabbing at his lower right calf as he fell to the court.
Fans at first cheered but then, spurred in part by some Raptors players, chanted 'KD! KD!' as he was helped to the locker room area joined by teammates Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala and general manager Bob Myers.
Durant limped off after he had missed the previous nine games with a strained right calf.
Drake during Game One of the NBA Finals on May 30 in Toronto wore a black armband covering tattoos of
