Love Island 2019: Anna's future hangs in balance as Sherif is kicked off

Anna Vakili's future on Love Island has been left hanging in the balance after her partner Sherif Lanre was kicked off the show on Tuesday after breaking strict rules.

Friday's episode saw male contestant, aircraft engineer Callum Macleod, 28, eliminated from the series with it likely to be a female Islander leaving the villa this week.

The pharmacist, 28, will be the only girl who isn't coupled up with someone on Love Island ahead of the next elimination, leaving her position on the show in jeopardy.

However, an ITV2 spokesperson appeared to confirm Anna's future on the show, they said: 'Anna will be remaining in the villa.'

It's likely that Anna will couple up with fellow singleton Danny Williams, 21, who is the latest contestant to join the show, unless Love Island unveils new male Islanders for the pharmacist to pick from.

While show watchers are already speculating that Anna and Anton Danyluk, who is currently coupled with Amber Gill, could partner up after the Scottish gym owner revealed he fancied her the most on Friday's episode.

The stunning brunette had been partnered with Sherif, 20, from the first episode and the two shared a steamy kiss on Sunday, with the semi-professional rugby player admitting she had 'melted' his heart.
