Lily Allen admits she 'connected' with Jodie Comer's Killing Eve psychopath ...

So Lily Allen, 34, was the perfect choice to turn guest editor for an exclusive Stylist Magazine takeover to mark the magazine’s 10th anniversary, in which she interviewed her own superfan Jodie Comer, 26, from her favourite show Killing Eve. 

As they chatted, the songstress admitted that she 'connects' with Jodie's character Villanelle, as she said: 'She is an amazing character. She is everything – she’s sexy, she’s a murderer and she’s funny. I connected with her a lot'.

Jodie can currently be seen playing Villanelle in Killing Eve, which is the slick and often gruesome thriller explores the obsessive relationship between MI5 agent Eve [Sandra Oh] and a psychotic and supremely stylish Paris-based assassin.

Eve knows she must catch the chameleon-like killer before there's another murder but finds herself becoming more fascinated by the beautiful Villanelle – all the time knowing she could be her next victim.

It seems Lily is intrigued by the character as she admitted she is a superfan and even saw something of herself in the wicked character. 

Killing Eve returned to the US with the first episode for its second season on Sunday. An air date has yet to be announced for the UK.

Lily, whose father is famous funnyman Keith Allen, admitted she has struggled with her feminity due to her dad's attitude to women. 

Speaking about what has changed for her, she lauded her and ex Sam Cooper's daughters, Ethel, seven, and Marnie, six, for helping change her outlook. 

She said: ‘When I was growing up I had a very fragmented relationship with my dad. The way he spoke about women with his friends was quite derogatory so I tried to avoid being a woman. I didn’t really bond with women and I felt jealous of women...
