Little Mix have penned their younger selves empowering and insightful letters from the night they won The X Factor. 

In an interview with Bustle UK’s music issue Noisemakers, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have all touched upon their highs and lows, while also giving their former selves advice to overcome their hurdles. 

Leigh-Anne, 27, in particular credited 'finding Black Magic' for 'saving her career following extensive fears of getting dropped' while Jade, 26, urged her younger self to ignore 'old blokes at the label that try to fob you off.'

It is evident that Little Mix have learnt and experiences a lot since the night that changed their lives weight years ago on the X Factor stage. 

'So much sh** will happen to you,' Leigh-Anne told herself in the letter to herself. 

Giving further depth, the High Wycombe native stated: 'It won’t always be easy. After the second album, you’ll start writing the third and it won’t feel right… In that moment, you’ll fear that you’re going to get dropped, that you won’t be able to keep going. 

'It’s a horrible feeling, but then you’ll find Black Magic. That will be the turning point that saves your career.'

Leigh-Anne explained her future plight further: 'Your lives are in other people’s hands, and the crazy thing is, often the decisions people make for you won’t really work. 

'People will say stuff to you that you now know is totally wrong, like saying you can’t be in writing sessions because artists can’t write. Ignore it and trust yourself.”

'Over time, you’ll realise that everyone is just blagging it. It will be such a hard journey, getting to the point that you don’t care what people say online, but you’ll all get better at it,' she revealed. 

Jade was also quick to note that various other people would try to guide their career, while not keeping their best interests in heart. 

She wrote: 'Don’t be afraid to use your voice. Everyone in this industry is blagging it, and that includes the old blokes at the label that try to fob you off with their version of a
