ITV bosses were said to have been busy trying to keep exes Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger apart when they were both at the London Studios on Wednesday.

Lauren, 32, appeared as a guest on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield while Mark, 32, joined the panel on Loose Women.

A source told The Sun that crew members were told to make sure there was no chance of the former flames bumping into one another while backstage.

They said: 'Loose Women and This Morning use the same backstage area and it's not particularly big, so guest from various shows are always bumping into each other.

'Lauren and Mark were in at the same time and executives were told to try to make sure there was no chance of them bumping into each other.

'We didn't lead Lauren through the canteen like we usually do and we kept her in her dressing room as much as we possibly could.'

The source added that the situation was awkward but is sometimes necessary to keep celebrity guests happy.
