Wild Bill was surely the most absurd, implausible, cop show yet in the long history of completely unlikely crime series.

Yes, even more than J-Lo’s Shades Of Blue or Marcella.

Hard to believe I know.

For a start Wild Bill was about a high-flying American cop who’d cleaned up the streets of San Diego, Denver, and Miami and now moved to Boston - not that one - as the new Chief Constable of… East Lincolnshire.
