The Super Switch's Justin Rylan shocked viewers on Wednesday by announcing that women shouldn't be allowed to return to the workplace after having children.

And just minutes after his headline-grabbing interview on The Morning Show, the 29-year-old was pictured smiling outside of Channel Seven's studios in Melbourne.

Joined by his long-suffering girlfriend Neesha Macleod, Justin looked very pleased with himself while strolling through Docklands, in the city's inner west.

Wearing the same outfits they wore during their now-infamous TV interview, the couple seemed oblivious to the backlash Justin had just created.

Justin, who was dating Neesha for a year-and-a half before they filmed The Super Switch, said on The Morning Show: 'When we have kids, I would like her to be there and not go through childcare.'

Justin added that he has 'traditional' views about men and women, and wants to be the family's sole breadwinner.
