He was famously known for his clean-shaven look as bar manager Dodger Savage on Hollyoaks.

But Danny Mac ditched his signature appearance in favour of a full beard as he debuted his new facial hair during an interview on Thursday's edition of Lorraine.

The soap star, 31, who tied the knot to wife Carley Stenson back in September 2017, discussed his recent honeymoon as he enthused going on the romantic holiday 18 months after his wedding was 'worth the wait'.

In addition to his new beard, stage actor Danny also unveiled a slightly-long head of hair, which he styled into a dapper comb-over 'do.

A social media user took to Twitter to express her delight over his new appearance, stating: '@lorraine #DannyMac Omg the beard the hair!  I'd be so distracted talking to him, beautiful man!'

Danny and fellow thespian Carly, 36, who have been in a relationship since 2011, took a rare break from their work duties as they jetted off to Bali for their romantic honeymoon.
