But now Australian comedian Tom Gleeson, 45, has savaged Sydney, as part of his hilarious new mock travel show, called Go Away.
In the latest episode which airs on The Weekly on the ABC, Tom can be seen walking around the capital city and slamming it, calling locals 'd**kheads' and saying that the iconic Bondi Beach is 's**t.'

'The traffic is so bad here, if your friends don't live nearby, you'll never see them again,' Tom begins in the clip.
'But if your friends live in Sydney, they're probably d**kheads anyway.'
He then advised tourists: 'Unless you like overpriced housing, a city with its own bedtime and giant cockroaches that watch while you sleep, then don't come here.'
