The Super Switch's Lachlan opens up about THAT explosive dinner party fight

He was at the center of the explosive dinner party fight on Channel Seven's The Super Switch this week.

And now Lachlan Petch has hinted that he has some regrets about his behaviour on the controversial reality show.

Speaking to New Idea, the 27-year-old admitted: 'There are things I said that I probably wouldn't normally say in a normal situation.'

He added: 'I do have strong opinions ... so, it's hard to look back on some of the comments I said.'

Channel Nine's Married At First Sight has become infamous for its dramatic dinner party fights in recent years.

But on Wednesday, The Super Switch gave MAFS a run for its money with a shocking four-way dinner party clash that ended in tears.

The drama kicked off over sleeping arrangements, after it was discovered that 'switch partners' Christie Cassar and Tyler Franko had shared a bed together on the first night of the experiment.

The premise of The Super Switch involves troubled couples separating and then 'switching' partners with another couple in a last ditch bid to save their relationship. 

Neesha Macleod and Lachlan, who were paired together, opted not to share a bed together, with Lachlan sleeping on the couch.

However, Christie and Tyler did sleep together, which caused an explosive confrontation over morals between the two warring couples.

'I don't think sharing a bed is a very big issue,' explained Tyler, who said that he and Christie had erected a 'pillow wall' to separate themselves.
