Despite eventually connecting with her father, rocker Liam Gallagher, Molly Moorish has admitted she is more than happy to have had nothing to do with him for the first 19 years of her life.

'I don’t have any anger,' she insisted in an interview with The Sunday Times Magazine this weekend. 'I’m actually thankful for how I was brought up with my mum and how my life’s been.

'I wouldn’t be who I am now if . . . it’s all happened the way it was meant to happen. We just got on and I’m happy to have him now.'

The Oasis musician has even penned a song about her, called Now That I Found You, for his new album.

He made the revelation on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X last week, explaining the song's title, saying: 'Not that she was lost or anything, or she was captured by the Taliban or anything like that.

'But it’s got a "now that you’re in my life" kinda vibe.
