They welcomed their newborn son Rex 'earlier than expected' last month.

And Stacey Solomon, 29, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a heartwarming snap of baby Rex and Joe Swash in adorable matching outfits to mark Father's Day. 

The former X Factor contestant dressed the three-week-old tot in a polka dot baby grow, while doting dad, Joe, sported an identical style jumper as he beamed down at his new little one. 

Stacey shared the candid snap alongside a sweet caption dedicated to her boyfriend Joe, 37. She wrote: 'Happy Father's Day Daddy. The matching outfits have begun.

'Joe you've been an incredible father for 12 long years and counting. It's one of the reasons I fell so madly in love with you.'

She continued:  'I can't tell you how amazing it is getting to watch you do it all over again for another lucky little boy. I love you both to the moon and stars and back again. X' 

Before sharing the Father's Day post, Stacey took to her Instagram story to tell fans that she bought Rex and Joe: 'matching outfits for when daddy comes home'. 

Then, the presenter announced that she had also made the effort for the special occasion. She said: 'Mummy has made an effort too - I put the straighteners through my hair and put a little lash on for daddy on Father's Day'.  

The post comes after Stacey has continuously been giving fans an honest look at the struggles and reality of having a newborn. 

In May, Joe announced that Stacey had given birth to their first child 'a lot earlier than planned,' and then confirmed that they were parents to a son.
