Love Island fans savagely lay into 'desperate' and 'out of control' Maura

And when fans thought they had seen it all, Maura suggestively asked 29-year-old Tom Walker to share a bed with her during their first 20-minute long date during the teaser for Monday night's episode.

Social media was awash with viewers blasting the 28-year-old ring girl, who was left single after Tommy pied her off for Molly-Mae, as 'desperate' and 'out of control'.

'This Maura girl is actually out of control, wtf do you mean "do you want to share a bed with me??" #loveisland,' one fan wrote, among the crowded Twitter feed slamming the grid girl.

Left single for all of five minutes when Tommy played it 'safe' by choosing Molly-Mae, Maura couldn't resist making a saucy proposition to her new love interest.

So it's no wonder Tom was a little more than taken back when the brunette bombshell purred: 'Will you share a bed with me?'  

During the teaser for Monday's episode, Tom flirts up a storm with Maura but he admitted she might be 'too hot to handle'. 

Tom said: 'I like the new girls – Maura is a cannon. She’s gone in there and torn it up. She might be a bit too hot to handle! I really like Elma.
