Kyle Sandilands' friendship with former Westlife singer Brian McFadden is well documented.
But there's one story about the pair that perhaps requires a bit of explanation.
In 2011, Brian and Kyle were met by AFP officers at Sydney Airport, who escorted them off a plane following a rowdy flight from Los Angeles.

At the time, it was reported that Brian had tried to smoke a cigarette on the flight - a claim Kyle has disputed.
Kyle recalled the incident on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday, after Jackie 'O' Henderson said: 'I don't know has anyone actually been busted smoking on a plane... Oh that's right! You were involved. Didn't Brian do it, or something?'
'No, he didn't! he didn't actually do it,' Kyle responded. 'He had a cigarette behind his ear and he was just off his head on Stilnox and wine.
