And on Monday, Ian Thorpe made waves while attending the Giorgio Armani fashion show in Milan during Fashion Week.
Ian, 36, made a grand entrance in a blue trench coat, black and white knit T-shirt, loose fitting blue trousers and classic dark-blue 'creeper' shoes.

With his dark sunglasses and closely cropped hair, the swimming great could have passed for one of Italy's elite fashion 'mafiosa'.
The Australian sporting icon was in good company at the fashion show, sitting alongside Hollywood A-listers Samuel L Jackson, 70, and Alexander Skarsgard, 42.
He also rubbed shoulders with Italian singer Marco Mengoni, 30, Scottish actor Richard Madden, 32, and polo player Padmanabh Singh, 20.
