Singer Adam Lambert has revealed he wants to play iconic musician Elvis Presley, revealing that he often gets compared to him.
Speaking to Studio 10 on Tuesday, the new Queen frontman expressed his interest in the latest biopic, which will be directed by Baz Luhrmann.
Speaking to reporter Angela Bishop, the 37-year-old said he was interested in the role after the success of Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody.

'I hear that there's an Elvis one in the works,' Adam said, cooing over the chance to play the iconic Heartbreak Hotel singer.
Angela went on to compare the singer's hair to The King, prompting Adam to gush over how he has been told that he looks similar to Elvis.
'I have been compared to him quite a bit,' he said, adding he has previously performed Elvis' back catalog as part of a musical special.
'I got to do this tribute thing that has a recreation of his comeback special,' he said, turning to the camera and saying 'audition me, come on.'

Angela went on to explain that Baz has already cast the role of Elvis' longtime manager, Colonel Tom Parker, who will be played by Tom Hanks.
Earlier this week, the American Idol singer revealed to The Daily Telegraph he has overcome a number of struggles after his ten years in the industry.
