Sam Thompson has apologised for remarks he made on Twitter in 2013, in which he used the term 'gay' as an insult.
The 26-year-old Made In Chelsea star referred to both friends and other Twitter users as 'gay' on numerous occasions, when he first shot to fame on the E4 structured reality series.
But the star has profusely apologised for being so blithe with the term, telling The Sun: 'I was wrong to use language like that. I've grown-up a lot since 2013 and would now never be so careless with my choice of words.

'As a society, we've also come a long way, and I think we're now more aware of the power of the words we use.'
This comes as Sam recently broke his silence on his new romance with ex-Love Islander, Zara McDermott, 22, revealing she made the first move when she 'slid into his DMs' to get the ball rolling.
The couple went public with their romance last weekend when they made a joint appearance at Polo In The Park in London, but Sam insisted their union is still blossoming and the pair aren't exclusive yet.
