Elsewhere in the interview, Mischa confirmed that much of her character's designer wardrobe on The O.C. was actually 'fake' - at least for the show's first season 'I never watched it [but] I've known the guys for a long time. I've seen them around at parties and events and stuff,' she said. She also spoke about her famous role as Marissa Cooper on U.S. teen drama The O.C. back in the 2000s. Mischa confirmed that much of her character's designer wardrobe was actually 'fake' - at least for the show's first season. She was asked about claims made by The O.C.'s former costume designer that Marissa's Chanel bags were actually cheap counterfeits. Responding to the allegation, Mischa said: 'I don't know who started that rumour but Chanel were throwing stuff at us by the second season. 'We had carte blanche with whatever we wanted with them.'
