Malin Andersson appears relaxed and content at Bali retreat

Malin Andersson has revealed she is helping address her trauma and pain with her current trip to a Bali retreat. 

The Love Island star and mental health campaigner, 26, was seen unwinding around the pool during the idyllic break, before taking to Instagram to reveal she was soothing her pain following her daughter's passing in January.

Looking a vision of calm and serenity, Malin smiled gently as she emerged from the pool before walking around while enjoying the rays and idyllic surroundings.

Malin's break is well deserved as she has jetted off after recently revealing that she debated taking her own life when her one-month-old daughter Consy. 

Taking to Instagram to document her getaway, Malin penned: 'So - as you all know I’m here in Bali.. so this trips been booked for around 2 months now. And after everything I’ve gone through in the past year it couldn’t have come at a better time. 

'Especially after last week. I’m a believer in self-care, meditation, relaxation and putting yourself first; but sometimes as humans we are busy and forget to do this...

'Ironically I didn’t realise how amazing it would be here - unlimited treatments, massages, yoga, healing, readings.. its literally what my head needs right now...

'By taking time out to yourself to deal with your pain and emotions you eventually get to heal. You don’t heal by staying busy and trying to numb the pain with external sources...

'I’m truly blessed to be here; but I know for a fact that this trip will be helping me massively on my journey to heal trauma that has happened to me. Mental health is important and should be taken as seriously as anything else.'

Before her trip, Malin spoke candidly to Kate Thornton on the Yahoo podcast White Wine Question Time, where she admitted she sunk so low that she contemplated suicide in order to be with her daughter.
