Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby has candidly revealed that she once had an abortion, claiming she 'would have ended up dead' if she hadn't.
The 41-year-old star made the admission as she spoke to Variety about Alabama's controversial new anti-abortion law.
Hannah bravely told the publication that she was raped and unable to raise a child, as she argued that it's ridiculous that women can't have abortions and then have no support while pregnant.

'I'm 'pro-life,' but I had an abortion,' Hannah said.
'Had I been in that state, under these laws, under these politics at that time in my life, I would be dead.'
She added: 'I was assaulted, raped, and very, very vulnerable,' saying she was in no state to raise a child.
