The remaining MasterChef Australia contestants were split into pairs and tasked with creating identical desserts during Wednesday night's episode.
However, the challenge quickly descended into chaos as the teams began 'shouting' and 'yelling' at each other in order to communicate across a kitchen divider.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to react to the heated cook-off, with one user sarcastically remarking: 'This shouting won't get confusing at all!'
The teams were made by pairing contestants Anushka and Derek, Simon and Sandeep, Nicole and Christina, Tessa and Tati, and Ben and Larissa,
'Can someone be kind enough to pass me a Nurofen. And some cotton balls while you're at it. Pretty sure my ears are bleeding,' one fan Tweeted during the episode.
Other viewers continued to weigh in on the rather noisy episode, with one adding: 'Could they not have left a shelf empty (so) they didn’t have to yell so
