Bella Thorne was brought to tears when Whoopi Goldberg publicly slammed her for releasing her own nude photos.

And Pretty Little Liars breakout Lucy Hale, 30, leaped to the defense of the 21-year-old Famous In Love star on Wednesday, in a couple of passionate DMs.

Thorne shared the messages to her own Instagram, the first of which read, 'Good for you baby girl. I'm so proud of you for speaking up'.

Her messages of support came after Bella preemptively released her own nude photos on Saturday, after a hacker threatened to leak the NSFW shots without her consent.

In a lengthy Instagram post, she fiercely denounced her hacker, announcing that she 'took my power back' and called the FBI on the person who wronged her.
