Casey Donovan has revealed why she slept with a woman during her six-year catfish ordeal, despite the fact she identifies as straight.
The Australian Idol winner told The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday that her 'boyfriend' - who did not exist - encouraged her to sleep with her best friend, Olga.
But it was all part of cruel web of lies spun by Olga herself, who posed as a man named 'Campbell' between 2004 and 2010 and tricked Casey into believing she was in a long-term online relationship.

Casey explained that she agreed to performing sexual acts with Olga because 'Campbell' promised her they would all meet up for a threesome later.
'Yeah it wasn't to prove that I loved him, it was that thing of, "You do this and then we can all do it [have sex] together and it'll be great",' she said, adding that she did not enjoy sleeping with Olga.
'At that point I was 16 and like 'what the hell are you doing talking to me'.
After discovering she had been catfished by Olga, Casey tried to contact the man whose photos Olga used to trick her into a relationship.
'He lives in the states, has a foot fetish… I sent him a message because I found him on Instagram and told him 'this is weird but I was in love with you for six years' and he read it and didn't reply.'
Last month, Casey revealed on Andrew Denton's Interview that she slept with Olga because she wanted to finally meet 'Campbell' in person.
'I think by that time I was just willing to do anything to see him,' she said.
Casey, who identifies as straight, explained how 'Campbell' had asked her to have sex with Olga, and then tell him about the encounter afterwards over the phone.
Desperate to finally meet her fictional boyfriend, the young songstress agreed to the bizarre request - which marked her first sexual experience.
