She's become a household name from the comfort of her living room, thanks to her time on Gogglebox.

And ahead of her foray into radio as the replacement for Fifi Box when she goes on maternity leave, Yvie Jones has spoken candidly about body image.

Speaking to WHO magazine, Yvie said she's grateful and humbled for the attention she's received from the public after becoming a media personality.

'It's just so nice, it's very validating really. You know, to be so loved by people, for just being yourself,' Yvie said.

She said one of the things she's looking forward to in her new role is the opportunity to meet A-listers and get the chance to ask them a range of intimate questions.

But despite being glad to be back in the public eye, Yvie admitted certain industries have a tendency to skew people's perception of body image.

She reflected on a conversation she had in the jungle with fellow contestant Justin Lacko, who said he didn't like it when 'people who are big' complain about it.

Yvie then explained how the media, fashion, beauty, weightloss and fitness industries have influenced people's perception of body image.

She said there's so much expectation to be a certain way that body image has become distorted, however she has become more confident in herself.
