Though the West Hollywood City Council unanimously voted for a proposal to remove President Donald Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the late Carrie Fisher will not replace him, according to a new report.
Though Fisher's co-star Mark Hamill tweeted out a story from The Hill about the West Hollywood City Council's decision, adding, 'and I know just who should replace him.... #AStarForCarrie,' he wasn't able to sway the council.
TMZ has reached out to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the Walk of Fame, and a rep confirmed that Fisher will not be replacing Trump.

After the West Hollywood City Council approved the proposal, they will send a formal letter to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to consider their proposal.
Trump was awarded his star in 2007, for producing beauty competitions Miss USA and Miss Universe, but WeHo City Council members John D'Amico and Lindsey Horvath want the star removed due to his alleged treatment of women.
