But Noomi Rapace couldn't bare to watch herself on the big screen when she landed her first movie role at the age of 20. Speaking on Thursday's Lorraine, the now-39-year-old said: 'When I was 20 and I saw my first film I was like, "oh my days, I look horrible". Don't look now! The actress recently wore a men's suit for a red carpet appearance, which she admits comes from her childhood when she would hang around more with boys. The Swedish native is known for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish film adaptations of the Millennium series: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. Her latest movie is called The Captor. in which she stars alongside Ethan Hawke. The plot focuses on Stockholm syndrome: the disorder which sees captives become oddly obsessed towards their captors. Canadian director Robert Budreau helms the project which is a fictionalised version of the instance that produced this psychological term – a robbery in Stockholm in 1973 when a prisoner on the run held up a bank - leaving his hostages finding themselves enamored with him by the end of the ordeal.
