The Coronation Street actor, 36, underwent a second hair transplant in March at the Farjo Hair Institute, who shared a snap of Alan in their clinic and revealed they helped him 'get his confidence back.' In Alan's own delighted testimonial on Instagram Stories, he preached that the procedure was 'nothing to be ashamed of' and that he had spoke to many men about 'knowing they had options.' They added the caption: 'Anyone recognise our recent hair transplant patient? It was great to have @alanhalsall come back into @farjohairinstitute for his second hair transplant, after being thrilled with the results from his first procedure!' 'We're so glad we could help Alan get his confidence back!' Alan couldn't resist enthusing over the treatment himself, explaining: 'I've spoken with so many men who have confidence issues because of their hair, maybe this will let some of them know they have options and people have it done all the time. In March, Alan unveiled the results of the procedure on his Instagram account while thanking his fans for their kind messages. The soap favourite, who has played mechanic lovable Tyrone Dobbs since 1998, shared a selfie of himself pulling a faux shocked face. Alan's hair had been shaved at the sides for the procedure, giving him a mohawk style. He wrote: 'Thanks for all your lovely messages, everything went well and I feel great aside from looking like a naughty 90's pop star'. This comes after Alan offered some hair transplant advice to his followers through a Q and A, while sharing a snap of the first procedure. Alan underwent his first hair transplant in 2016, admitting he was 'nervous' to see the snaps of his receding hairline, and his co-stars were said to be incredibly 'impressed' by the results.
