Ali Fedotowsky thought she was just being real when she wrote a blog post about having a nanny. 

But after being hit with a barrage of criticism the TV personality and mother-of-two 'cried her eyes out' on Friday and took to Instagram to explain she was just trying to help her fans realize that nobody can do it all alone.

In a series of selfie videos taken in her car while on the way to a workout session, the 34-year-old former Bachelorette talked about how much the negative comments affected her.

'Just cried my eyes out reading some comments on my blog. I'm gonna try not to cry on here because I don't want to let it get to me more than it already has. iwrote a blog post the other day about having a nanny.

'All of the projects I was working on was starting to be too much and I needed some help. So we hired somebody.

'And I really wanted to finally start spending a little time working on myself. Like going to a workout class which I'm about to do now.'

Ali explained that the point of her blog - which she posted on Wednesday and has already garnered 130 comments - was to show that she isn't perfect and that no mother can do everything, juggling a busy career and kids, without some help.
