Killing Eve viewers were left in hysterics on Saturday when an MI6 boss made an unexpected reference to the BBC One show Pointless.
In the show's second series, Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw) was sitting at her dinner table with Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and her son Kenny Stowton (Sean Delaney).
The head of MI6's Russia desk needed to embark on a serious conversation with Eve, and so subtly hinted at her son to leave the room by asking him to check whether Pointless was recording.

She said: 'Will you make sure that pointless is recording, Kenny'.
This prompted the ex-hacker to quickly leave the room, leaving Eve to be reprimanded by the quick-witted agent.
Turning her attention back to the security operative, Carolyn said: 'I don't normally get angry Eve, it makes me feel sleepy, so you'll just have to imagine I sound angry when I say this.
