Jamie Cullum has revealed he has been 'gently teased' about being short his 'whole life' and it became worse after marrying his wife Sophie Dahl.
The jazz singer, 39, stands at 5'4 while his model other half, 41, who is the granddaughter of Roald Dahl, is a statuesque 5'11.
Speaking to the Mirror, Jamie said: 'Obviously I am short. It is something I’ve been gently teased about my whole life, particularly when I married a taller woman.'

Jamie and Sophie married in a private ceremony in Hampshire in January 2010 and now reside in Buckinghamshire.
Describing his other half, he said: 'She’s a very honest, open person and she’s taught me to be more honest and open myself, just by being around her.'
Being in the public eye, Jamie was asked how he feels about others commenting on his relationship with Sophie.
