Appearing on the Today show on Monday to promote Mystify: Michael Hutchence, filmmaker Richard Lowenstein confirmed that Tiger had a mixed response to some of the footage. 'Tiger Lily loved it but she did say, "I don't think I ever want to see that again" because it was so emotionally tumultuous,' Lowenstein said. 'She was very instrumental in confirming to the band that she was OK with it,' he continued. Richard, who previously directed many of INXS' music videos, let Tiger watch an early edit of the documentary during a visit to her apartment in London. After viewing the film, Tiger contacted the surviving INXS band members to give her blessing for their music to be used in the soundtrack. 'Because [the band mates] were very nervous - and quite rightly so - [about] how it was all going to be portrayed, those last couple of years,' he added. During a recent interview with A Current Affair, Lowenstein spoke about what it was like to meet Tiger while working on the documentary. Tick of approval: After viewing the documentary, Tiger (pictured front) even contacted the surviving INXS band-members to give her blessing for their music to be used as part of the film's soundtrack Two of a kind: Richard, who was close to Michael, spent time exploring London with Tiger as part of his documentary-making process and was struck by how similar she is to her late father. I'd be saying, 'You have no idea, I used to be with your dad and he'd say exactly the same thing as you just said...' and she'd go, 'Tell me,' and I'd tell her stories and she was very moved by them,' he said. Richard said he gifted her with one of Michael's old jumpers and one of his acoustic guitars, which 'really broke her up'. Tiger has maintained a quiet life outside of the spotlight since the tragic deaths of both her parents, first Michael in November 1997, followed by Paula Yates in September 2000. Tiger was just 16 months old when Michael passed at age 37.
