Rihanna may not have been nominated at the 2019 BET Awards, but the pop superstar sure made her case for best dressed in all-black leather ensemble that would have made any rock and roll queen proud.
With her skin tight duds and matching double-breasted jacket, the Good Girl Gone Bad singer was on hand to present Mary J. Blige with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
'Mary J. Blige introduced herself to the world with a brand new vibe forever aligning the worlds of hip-hop and R&B,' Rihanna began while flashing that seductive smile.

Making her mark: Rihanna has been nominated for 24 BET Awards over her career between 2006 and 2018, which resulted in six wins.
All eyes were in Rihanna when she made her way to the stage.
Her form-fitting pants put an emphasis on her womanly curves, while the jacket contrasted with a baggier look.
Adding to the contrast, she donned a couple of sparkling diamond necklaces.
'She changed the game with her unique sound and that Mary J. Blige style,' Rihanna said as the cameras cut to a visible emotional Blige sitting in the audience.

Rihanna proceeded to roll off some of fashion-setting trends and career accolades that have mounted up over Blige's stellar career that has spanned over 30-years.
'[She made] history as the first person to ever to be nominated for an Oscar in an acting and music category in the same year,' which provoked a bashful but proud smile from the so-called Queen Of Hip Hop Soul.
That smile quickly turned to an emotional look of humility and introspection.

She concluded, 'Thank you for pouring yourself into every track and giving us a song for every feeling. Thank you for showing us that love is all that we need. But we didn't know how much we needed you.'
Dressed in black mini dress with silver sequins along parts of the front, The What's the 4-1-1? legend gracefully walked to the stage, all while trying to keep her emotions steady.
