The Voice finals kicked off on Monday night.
But fans were quick to realise they cannot vote on the result, and that the top 16 would be culled to 12 - by the judges.
Confused and angry, many people watching at home took to Twitter to express their frustration.

One person wrote: 'The judges are still sending people home?!?Thought this was the finals. When do we get to start voting???'
Another fan Tweeted: 'Oh my God continuing to completely disregard the audience. The coaches choose who goes home.'
Yet another wrote: 'I don't understand why The Voice brings in a wildcard act but are cutting down the final 16 to 12. Please tell me how that makes f***ing sense'.
