With the stakes higher than ever on House Rules, Tuesday night's episode saw Mat push himself to literal breaking point.
The 27-year-old carpenter was in need of an ambulance after he collapsing during an intense garden renovation at Lisa and Andy's home in Adelaide.
After the bell sounded, signalling the end of the renovation, a red-faced Mat was seen slumped up against one of the yard's newly-installed benches.

Courtney, 31, was seen rushing over to help him lie down, propping a pillow under his head, as one of the show's paramedics appeared clutching bottles of water.
