She is an advocate for body confidence and empowering her fellow females.

And Ashley James, 32, has now hit out at the male Instagram followers who send her 'crass comments' about her assets in a long statement on social media on Tuesday.

The former Made In Chelsea star shared how being sent unwanted sexual messages online previously made her 'cover up to avoid unwanted attention' and urged her fans to 'take a cold shower' instead of messaging her.

The beauty took to her stories to write a list about her feelings and how she prefers to receive compliments from girls rather than guys alongside a snap of herself in a bikini - that she covered with the text.

She penned: '1. Compliments from other girls mean 1000 times more than from guys.

'2. I realise I have boobs, it’s what nature intended for me. But guys making crass comments on my posts or in my DMs don’t give me any form of pleasure or satisfaction.

'3. It’s these types of comments that made me spend my teens/twenties feeling ashamed of my body and like I had to cover up to avoid unwanted attention, or worry I’d be judged.

'4. I get it, boobs are attractive. But just because someone has boobs, especially big boobs it doesn’t give you a right to point them our [sic] or comment on them to us. It’s kind of demeaning. Please just go have a cold shower.

'5. Girls can complement my boobs and body as much as they want. It means more because girls can be judgemental, so it means a lot when we give each other love. If I ever expressed displeasure at the size of my boobs of the attention they got, girls used to presume I was seeking attention by saying it. So now, girls who compliment me make my day.'

Ashley's post comes after her Bumble dating profile was revealed earlier this month.
