Her husband Paddy McGuinness shocked fans when he revealed her underwent a surprise fans vasectomy on Tuesday.

And Christine McGuinness appeared in great spirits as she treated herself to a hair salon visit at The Style Lounge in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, on Wednesday afternoon.

The RHOC star, 31, cut a typically stylish figure as she slipped into a cream high-waisted skirt while carrying a bouquet of flowers - presumably for her bedbound partner.

Christine's fresh tresses were styled into bouncy curls, while her radiant complexion was enhanced with neutral-toned make-up. 

The blonde's display comes after Take Me Out host Paddy, 45, revealed he had spent the past two days resting up at his Cheshire home, with a bag of ice on his manhood as he continued his recover.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday morning, the presenter talked about his thoughts on the procedure, while his wife Christine gushed: 'my brave soldier'. 

He told his fans: 'Day one post vasectomy and it's all good. My doctor said get loads of rest and that's exactly what I've done.

'Two days solid I've been in this bed, two days in this same vest and I'm absolutely stinking. I've been in heaven.

'If you're discussing getting a vasectomy with your wife or maybe your wife being sterilised, trust me, chose the vasectomy.

'If your wife gets sterilised its major surgery for the lady. Health complications aside your lady could be out of action for a month. 

'Now, lads that's a month of you doing everything around the house, every school pick up and everything single thing with the kids.

Sharing the video, Paddy said: 'Day 1 post vasectomy. The key thing is getting lots of rest and icing them bad boys up!!! No swelling, no turning funny colours, no pain. 

'I had two paracetamol last night before bed, just as a precaution, and that’s it. I can only give you my opinion, if you’re thinking of getting the snip it’s totally fine. #vasectomy #rest #ice #cupsoftea #wednesdaywisdom.'

On Tuesday, the Top Gear presenter, who shares twins Leo and Penelope, five, and daughter Felicity, two, with his wife, livestreamed details of the operation and his recovery on Instagram.

Taking to the comments section, the funnyman penned: 'Home now after having the auld snippy snappy snoo. Currently resting up with a bag of ice on my nadgers. #vasectomy
