Kathryn Dennis revealed breaking up with her boyfriend and made up with her best friend Danni Baird on Wednesday's episode of Southern Charm.

The 26-year-old reality star arrived to a dinner party hosted by Patricia Altschul, 78, who immediately asked about her 'new beau'.

'Oh, yeah. Oh, boy. He and I have apparently broken up. He's not what I thought he was,' Kathryn said.

She insisted to her friends that she was 'over it', but in hindsight she understood their warnings about former Florida senator Joseph Abruzzo.

'I get it now,' Kathryn said.

Danni, 35, and Kathryn then had a private chat.

They both admitted to being 'emotionally exhausted'. 

Kathryn admitted that Danni raised some red flags about her ex that she should have heeded.

Danni then confronted her for telling her to 'f*** off' at Craig Conover's party.

'Why would you go there? You can't go there all the time,' Danni said.

'I know. I'm working on it trust me,' Kathryn said.

'Because that really hurt,' Danni added.

Kathryn claimed that she 'snapped' after feeling that Danni during their girls trip had put her 'baggage' on the table.

She admitted in a confessional that Danni should not have been her target.

'I'm sorry. You know I love you. ...I feel like we broke up,' Kathryn told Danni.

'I never felt like we broke up, but I felt like you were flirting with another guy on Instagram or something,' Danni said smiling.

A dinner bell rang as Patricia gathered them for an artichoke-themed dinner with the food matching the porcelain.

Kathryn shared in a confessional that Patricia was goals for the group and she wanted to impress her.

Patricia had been hosting guys-only dinners and told the women they were more reserved.

They had tequila shots and Patricia claimed that it was her first.

'Quite frankly, I had always wondered about what taking a shot was like. I prefer a martini,' Patricia said.

Madison LeCroy during dinner that she and Austen Kroll were separated.

Patricia then mentioned the rumors of Kathryn and her son Whitney Sudler-Smith hooking up after the idea of them getting married was brought up.

'You know I heard rumors to that affect. I wouldn't be unhappy. I mean, I would be assured of having a grandchild,' Patricia said.

'What is happening,' Kathryn laughed.

Kathryn has been struggling during season six of the Bravo show with her ex Thomas Ravenel and his legal woes.

They share custody of five-year-old daughter Kensie and three-year-old son Saint.

The season six episode opened with Craig, Whitney, Austen and Shep Rose continuing on their RV trip to Nashville to help Austen get over his split with Madison.

Shep cooked eggs for Craig after he and Whitney relentlessly teased him while they were camping.
