Love Island: Molly-Mae demands Lucie to 'tone down' her friendship with Tommy

They both fought for his affections during the early stages of the ITV2 dating series.

And Molly-Mae Hague, 20, appeared to mark her territory as she demanded Lucie Donlan, 21, 'tone down' her friendship with her partner Tommy Fury, also 20, on Wednesday's edition of Love Island.

During a conversation with the boxer, the Instagram influencer candidly expressed her concern over their close bond, with furious fans branding the surfer a 'snake' for refusing to rule out a romance with the hunk.

The social media sensation is currently paired up with the Manchester native, while Lucie - who was coupled with Tommy for a while before forming a relationship with reject Joe Garratt - is competing on the show with close pal Anton Danyluk.

Revealing her thoughts on their relationship, Molly-Mae told her partner: 'Sometimes she just needs to like tome it down a little bit, and remember that you and me are coupled up, not you and her.'

Tommy then insisted he doesn’t have eyes for Lucie outside of their friendship, as he replied: 'I’m here for you, that’s it.'

Meanwhile, a disappointed Lucie admitted she feels as though she’s already 'lost' Tommy due to his romance with the fellow blonde beauty.

Speaking to Maura Higgins and Arabella Chi, Charlie Frederick's ex said: 'At the moment I feel like, so distant from him. You can see how loved up he is. I literally feel like I’ve kind of lost him a little bit.'

And while she's drifted from Tommy, Lucie insisted she hasn’t given up hope, as she said there have been male friends of hers in the past who have crossed the line over into being her boyfriend.
