Last year's Gold Logie winner, Grant Denyer, is not supporting ABC host Tom Gleeson in his bid for the coveted gong on Sunday.
A day before this year's award ceremony takes place on the Gold Coast, Grant has slammed Tom's nonchalant campaigning as 'an act'.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the 41-year-old said: 'I am not sure I entirely believe he is just taking the p**s and he hates the Logies, because his desperation is unparalleled.'
Ouch! Grant Denyer (pictured) claims Gold Logie nominee Tom Gleeson's disdain for the TV award ceremony is 'all an act' and will 'go to any level to win'
'It is all an act. He is desperate and will go to any level to get it. I have never seen anyone want something more than him,' Grant added in the scathing interview.
Grant has already publicly voiced his disappointment at Tom's parody videos and smear campaign tactics, and claimed he was 'ripping the heart out of The Logies'.
During a segment on his 2DayFM radio show, Breakfast with Grant, Ed & Ash, on Thursday he accused Tom, 45, of making a 'joke' of the Logies and 'effectively taking the p**s' out of the ceremony.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Tom Gleeson's management for comment.
